I made amazing new friends, it opened up my entire world to new possibilities and experiences, my jobs allowed me to travel the world (corporate director for Marriott, then Group Director Mandarin Oriental) and really grew up as a man in a big world.

recovery & sobriety
I started drinking in high school. I did occasionally get blacked out but not often. Then when I got to college the frequency and level of getting blacked out, not remembering, getting in trouble with the law and all that increased. My first realization as that this was problem when I started to drink vodka early in the day, in the morning and by myself.
JOSH GRIMM
health & wellness
I have taken it upon myself over the last ten years, since I turned 30, to grow into my mind. Meaning that I have spent a decade with a daily practice of meditations trying to live mindfully.

Naturally I read a lot of plays. The ironic thing about reading plays, of course, is that they are not meant to be read. To me, the fundamental thing about a play is not something that is meant to exist on the page or in your mind, but it is something that must live in time and space. In my opinion, the best plays are the ones that can only fully function when plugged into this equation : time + space.

injury & recovery
One of my porters says "Oh sh*t!" and in midair I only have enough rotation that I don't land head first upside down. I end up landing back on the dry stage, missing the water, taking all the force to my face and chest. I slide unconscious into the water.

PATRICK SIMARD
His Story
In my youth I felt in order to live better in my new reality, I had to move to another city. I needed to study and understand myself better. It helped to understand the reality about the gay life. I needed time to rebalance my life, make new friends, and become an adult.
DIMITRY STRIGUN
yoga & mindfulness
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is around celebrating our individual selves, staying true to myself, relying on myself over others, and being empowered by my independence and self purpose. My advice to obtain this is to recognize and address our issues and seek peace of mind with softness in our hearts.
GEORGE DELLINGER
ageless
